
Gordon Scott has been an active investor for nearly twenty years and has coached individual traders and investors for over 10 years. He is a licensed broker, a proprietary day trader and a full-time trader in securities, futures, forex and penny stocks. He holds a Masters Degree in Instructional Technology and worked for IBM for 10 years developing instructional material and business process refinement. He also served as an adjunct faculty member of BYU’s Organizational Strategy and Leadership department. Gordon also served as a Trading Coach at Beacon Learning Group and was the content manager at Investools, where he developed the online curriculum and oversaw its growth during the Thinkorswim and TD Ameritrade mergers.
Gordon co-authored the book “Invest to Win,” with Toni Turner. The book was published by McGraw-Hill in January of 2013 and focuses on providing motivated investors an edge in uptrending and downtrending markets.
He formerly served as the Managing Director of the CMT® Program for the CMT Association. He currently advises Investopedia Academy’s trading and investing education, and publishes research and commentary on trading strategies and opportunities.
